Refund Policy

Rental fees are refunded (on a pro-rated basis) only when a student moves from the room or unit in which the safe is located. Refunds are not available for a student who moves to another room that has a safe installed. Refunds are not issued for laptops that do not fit, please measure carefully. SafeDecisions may consider a refund of a portion of the rental fees in such hardship situations on a case-by-case basis in its sole discretion. For a refund request to be considered, the student must inform SafeDecisions of any room changes or room withdrawals, in writing, within 10 days. Verification of room changes or withdrawals is required prior to issuance of the refund. The student will be required to return the refund request form, and the safe must be relocked in the presence of the student, before a refund is issued.

Refunds are prorated on a monthly basis over a 9-month period. Partial use during a month is considered one month's rental.
